Kamna Mohan is an Indian writer born and raised in Dubai, UAE. Her biggest cinematic inspirations are Wong Kar-Wai, Martin Scorsese and Celine Sciamma.In 2017, she was selected as a participant in the Arab Film Studio Scriptwriting programme, by Image Nation, after which she was chosen to be in the final four for the script ‘Skin Deep’, and had an opportunity to pitch at the Dubai International Film Festival. Additionally, she has been a Producer and Art Director on two short films produced by Young Filmmakers’ Circle, ADMAF. In 2022, Kamna was accepted as a participant in the Short Film Klinik, a unique programme to develop shorts and a joint partnership between the Red Sea International Film Festival, Goethe Gulf and Film Akademie.
