Naina is a writer and documentary filmmaker from Hyderabad. She started as a production executive and writer at Hyderabad-based Clown Pictures and became a PA on the Telugu indie film Season of Innocence. While she made documentaries (Children of Men), she also co-wrote ‘Quarantine’, slated to be the first virtual production in South India. Since COVID, she has worked as a creative professional at advertising firms like Nutshell and Schbang until finally quitting in 2023. She now edits music videos, makes documentaries, stars in food reels and freelances for the Times of India. From December – January, she was a writing intern at Nandita Das Initiatives and assisted Nandita Das on her feature script. She is now editing her oral-history documentary on Hyderabad, and is writing her anthology of revisionist Indian myths.
