Important Disclaimers

  • Writers INK runs an academic-focused screenwriting program to help writers learn and understand the fundamental tools and techniques of screenwriting. Writers INK focuses on helping writers achieve a good first-draft of their screenplays to help them create a good portfolio and a writing sample to showcase their skill level to producers and other industry professionals. Most projects will continue to have a development journey even after this Lab at other Script development and mentorship Labs.
  • The Pitchfest organized by Writers INK helps simulate a real-world pitching and networking experience for upcoming writers and will give them a good exposure to the industry. But it should not be considered as Film Production Market, where projects will find producers because the projects will be at a nascent first-draft stage.
  • Guest sessions of the Lab are spread out over the course of the Lab and there can be last minute cancellations due to guest schedules.
  • The Writers INK Pitchfest has been attended by over 50 producers, however, we cannot guarantee this amount of attendance.
  • You will be asked to sign an Undertaking Statement before you submit the form. Please click on the statement and read it clearly.
